WHAT: MARGINAL RISK of Severe Weather for the entire area today. There is a SLIGHT RISK of Severe Weather Wednesday for the entire area. On a scale of 0 being no threat and five a high risk, the current threat level for today is a 1. The threat level in the Slight Risk area Wednesday is a 2. There is a slight chance that heavy rain could exceed flash flood guidance across the area through Wednesday.

WHEN: through Wednesday night. 

WHERE: Southeast Louisiana, and Southern Mississippi. The heaviest rain threat will be across those portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi generally east of Interstate 55. 

CONFIDENCE: Moderate confidence in severe potential today. High confidence for Wednesday. There is also high confidence in the heavy rain threat. 

Possible/Expected Impacts:

The wind gusts up to 65 mph that could down trees and power lines and/or cause structural damage

Isolation tornadoes (Brief and weak) 

Heavy rainfall with totals 2 to 5 inches through Wednesday
