The City of Harahan, in order to maintain and improve the quality of life in the City has a policy of seeking both state and federal grants to secure funds. We will keep you informed of the progress of these grants as it becomes available.

LGAP Grant for 2010 (Local Government Assistance Program-State of Louisiana)- still pending This grant applies for funding of: improvements to Lift Station #6 - Sewerage Department securing of funds to incorporate digital computer system for the City Court-Clerk of Court

Louisiana Tourism Recovery Program This grant is administered by the Lt. Governor of the State of Louisiana with funding allocated from British Petroleum to Louisiana Department of Tourism. Click to read our application.
